Celosia spicata

Most of the plants and flowers in my garden are purple, magenta, and maroon… I am just naturally attracted to this color range! Great contrast to our walls in the new house – Montri’s favorite olive or “basalt” according to Davies paints.

Celosia spicata is a great starter plant! Loves water and takes a lot of sunshine, prolific bloomer, and so easy to grow from seeds! Best of all, the flowers stay purple a long time. Great for flower arrangements with sprigs of fresh eucalyptus!
